Ticketing FAQs
Do I need a ticket for my baby (or other small child) who will be sitting on my lap?
Yes. Everyone entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Some events may offer reduced-price tickets for babies and small children, but in most cases, a full-priced ticket is required. We love children and offer family programming throughout the year, but some shows may not be appropriate for younger audiences based on the nature of the content or on the need for quiet during certain pieces. If you have a question about whether a specific show is appropriate, call the box office at 949.854.4646 x1
Can I get a refund on my tickets or exchange them for another show?
All ticket sales are final at the end of the purchase transaction and there are no refunds or exchanges. We encourage you to review your order confirmation upon receipt and inform us immediately of any questions or problems. In special circumstances, you may speak to a Box Office representative PRIOR to the performance to inquire about changes to your order. Please note that The Barclay does not offer refunds based on patrons' personal tastes or preferences. We pride ourselves on booking outstanding artists from all cultures, disciplines and styles, but we cannot guarantee individual satisfaction with any particular performance.
What time can I pick up my Will Call tickets?
Will Call tickets may be picked up beginning one hour before each performance. We recommend that you pick up your tickets no later than 15 minutes before curtain, to ensure that you have time to get seated before the show starts. Generally, the lobby opens one hour prior to curtain, and the auditorium opens 30 minutes prior to curtain. Please be aware that some artists require that late arrivals are held from being seated until an appropriate break in the performance.
Does the Barclay offer discounts for groups?
Group pricing/requirements vary from show to show, however when group pricing is available, the minimum number required is usually 12 or more tickets. All group sales inquiries are handled through our Box Office. Please email tickets@thebarclay.org or call 949.854.4646 x1 for service and information.
Does the Barclay offer Rush tickets?
Rush tickets are offered for some performances, based on availability and at the discretion of the show producer. Rush is generally offered one-hour prior to showtime at the Box Office window only. Please call the Box Office at 949.854.4646 on the day of the show to inquire about rush availability. Rush seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis and the Barclay reserves the right to require proper identification.
What if I lost my tickets?
Please contact the Box Office regarding lost/misplaced/damaged tickets. You will be asked for information regarding your order such as confirmation number, email address, etc. If you purchased tickets from a channel other than the venue box office (for example, directly from a club or university department), please contact the organization/individual from which you acquired the tickets for assistance. In some cases, a lost ticket replacement fee may apply.
My seats are odd numbers (or even numbers) only – are we sitting together?
Yes. Seats in the House Right section are all even-numbered, and seats in House Left section are all odd-numbered.
I see empty seats that are better than mine; can I move to those seats?
We ask that you remain in the seats that you have. Even though a seat may appear to be empty, it may have been purchased (or is being held) for a party that is delayed. By staying in your designated seat, you prevent disturbances during the performance that may distract the performers or impede the view/sound of your fellow patrons.
Caution: Third-Party Ticket Alert
