GRAND DEFILE 2025

For more than 40 years, Southland Ballet Academy (SBA) has been a pillar of artistic excellence in classical ballet training. Founded in 1983 by Salwa Rizkalla, SBA proudly upholds the rigorous tradition of the Vaganova method within a supportive and nurturing environment. Here, students learn the art of dance and develop confidence, focus, coordination, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

The Grand Defilé is a cherished tradition—an annual celebration of our students’ hard work, growth, and artistry. Today’s performance is a tribute to their dedication and a moment to shine on stage in front of family and friends.
