SWINGIN’ THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS

Swing into the holidays at Irvine Barclay Theatre when The Barclay Jazz & Beyond Orchestra rings in the season with a swinging night of holiday cheer.  The music will range from new arrangements of jazz Christmas classics to contemporary holiday hits.  

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS 

Lucy Woodward is a versatile, critically acclaimed singer known for her soulful, dynamic vocals. She has released acclaimed albums including Lucy Woodward & The Rocketeers and Til They Bang on The Door, collaborated with Snarky Puppy and Charlie Hunter, performed with jazz orchestras across Europe, and contributed to major films, soundtracks, and hit pop songs.

Two-time Grammy-winning saxophonist Eric Marienthal has performed worldwide with Chick Corea Elektric Band, Jeff Lorber Fusion, and legends including Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and B.B. King. With 15 solo albums, chart-topping hits, and instructional books and videos, he is recognized as a leading contemporary jazz saxophonist. 

Shelly Berg —an in-demand music director, bandleader, arranger, composer and pianist—is the artistic director for The Jazz Cruises, artistic advisor for the Jazz Roots series at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami and Dean of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.
