UC Irvine To Host Afro-Korean Hip Hop Conference and Concert

The UCI Center for Critical Korean Studies has partnered with Hyundai Motors America to display Afro-Korean hip hop culture in an upcoming festival. According to UCI news, the event will feature artists like Tiger JK, Yoon Mi-rae, Bizzy and Kurtis Blow.

This event consists of both a conference and a concert at the UCI campus. The conference will take place on October 7th from 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. in Room 1030 at the Humanities Gateway. Then, the concert will follow on the same day from 7 to 10 PM at the Irvine Barclay Theatre.
