6/27/2020-6/28/2020

Presented by Irvine Barclay Theatre

Irvine Barclay Theatre considers the health, safety and well-being of our patrons, visiting artists and staff a top priority. Due to COVID19, this performance has been canceled.

Finding its collective soul through masterful choreography and the fiery energy of its exceptional dancers, the Skylar Campbell Dance Collective is a touring troupe assembled by Skylar Campbell, principal dancer with the National Ballet of Canada.

Premiering its inaugural performance at the Barclay, the company of 20 includes leading artists from the National Ballet of Canada, New York City Ballet and Boston Ballet.

Skylar, a Laguna Beach native, will join Illustrious dancers Andrew Veyette, Greta Hodgkinson, Patrick Yocum and Unity Phelan, as well as stand-out dancers from every rank of the National Ballet of Canada, in a program featuring the works of some of the most celebrated choreographers of our time, including George Balanchine, David Allan and Guillaume Côté.

Executive Producer: William J. Gillespie

THE PROGRAM

Reunions - David Allan; Abulia - Michel Gervais; Bolero - Guillaume Côté; Self and Soul - Robert Binet; Tarantella - George Balanchine; Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux - George Balanchine; Pastoral Dances - David Allan

"Campbell has the sort of presence that's hard to pin down. You could call him a magnetic performer, but that doesn't do justice to the way he makes every technical detail speak... He's one of the company's most exciting rising stars."— The Globe and Mail

Gold Seats: $250 includes access to the private Gold Bar before the show with complimentary beverages, plus a post-performance reception with the artists and William J. Gillespie in honor of his 25 years of supporting dance in Orange County.

Due to current circumstances the Box Office phone wait time has increased significantly. Please feel free to email us with your questions and how you would like us to handle your tickets at: tickets@thebarclay.org.
