UCI Libraries celebrates the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s First Folio.

Join UCI Libraries to celebrate the opening of its newest exhibit, 400 Years of Shakespeare’s First Folio. Incorporating four centuries of rare books and artwork, the exhibit delves into what makes this book so treasured and traces Shakespeare’s rise in popularity both in England and around the globe. Following an intimate discussion with exhibit curator Derek Quezada, Rare Books Librarian at USC, and Eric Rasmussen, Regents Teaching Professor and Foundation Professor of English at the University of Nevada, enjoy a short performance from Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Immediately after the program, attendees are invited to nearby Langson Library for a reception and exhibit viewing.
