Join us for this special public lecture hosted by the Sue & Bill Gross Stem Cell Research Center (SCRC). The keynote presentation will be made by Dr. Anthony Atala who is a practicing surgeon and a researcher in the area of regenerative medicine. He will be discussing new approaches to healthcare in regenerative medicine. Fifteen applications of technologies developed in Dr. Atala’s laboratory have been used clinically and he has published over 800 journal articles and has received over 250 national and international patents.

The faculty, students and staff of the SCRC focus their time to understanding how stem cells work and can be harnessed to repair things like diseases of the eye and brain, or to do things like heal the skin and target cancer stem cells. To learn more, go to
