Irvine Barclay Theatre is excited to announce that we are partnering with the City of Irvine to bring three FREE concerts to the Mike Ward Community Park as part of The City of Irvine Sizzlin' Summer Concerts. These family-friendly concerts cover a variety of musical tastes and are intended to bring our community together for a series of fun summer evenings in the park. So, bring a picnic basket or purchase treats from on-site gourmet food trucks.

Aloha Friday with Kaleo Phillips

Born and raised in Lahaina, Maui, Jason Kaleonalani Phillips, affectionately known as Kaleo, has toured extensively throughout Hawaiʻi, the mainland U.S.,and Japan, sharing the stage with a broad range of artists, including the late, great Willie K.
His debut album, E Mama, was honored with three Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award (Hawai‘i’s Grammy) nominations in 2019, for Hawaiian Single of the Year, Instrumental Composition of the Year, and Promising Artist(s) of the Year. He followed that up with Take Me Home, which was nominated in 2020 for Contemporary Acoustic Album of the Year.
Kaleo Phillips’ latest release, First Dance, showcases this versatile Maui musician across a spectrum of styles from soulful pop and island reggae to traditional Hawaiian.
General admission is FREE. Tickets and pre-registration are not required for first-come, first-served seating.
Guests should bring chairs and blankets; layered clothing is recommended.
