One of the most beloved and celebrated musical ambassadors of our time, soprano Renée Fleming, captivates audiences with her sumptuous voice, consummate artistry, and compelling stage presence. Known as “the people’s diva,” she continues to grace the world’s greatest opera stages and concert halls, now extending her reach to include other musical forms and media.
"Fleming’s soprano—another exemplar of legendary beauty—soars with the force of an uncontainable soul." —The New Yorker
Winner of four Grammy Awards and the recipient of the U.S. National Medal of Arts, she has sung for momentous occasions from the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony to the Diamond Jubilee Concert for Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. In 2014, Renée brought her voice to a vast new audience as the first classical artist ever to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.
Piano accompaniment: "One of the most admired pianists of his generation” (The New York Times), Inon Barnatan is celebrated for his poetic sensibility, musical intelligence, and consummate artistry. A sought-after chamber musician, Barnatan is the recipient of both a prestigious 2009 Avery Fisher Career Grant and Lincoln Center’s 2015 Martin E. Segal Award. He was also a member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s distinguished Chamber Music Society Two program from 2006 to 2009.
