Opportunities for Middle and High Schools

Request a Master Class with an Irvine Barclay Theatre mainstage artist

An artist will instruct a class for middle, high school or college students studying within the same art form (dance, musical theatre, music, etc.) Classes can take place on-site in the Barclay’s rehearsal room, or off-site at your school.

Attend an Open Rehearsal/Sound Check

Invited school groups can organize trips to attend the final 45 minutes of an artist sound check, followed by a Q&A. Please contact Ginny Hayward for more information - hayward@thebarclay.org.

Performance Opportunities at the Barclay

We occasionally have informal performance opportunities for middle and high school students. A recent example was the Woodbridge High School a cappella choir, who performed at our Holiday Open House for people with developmental disabilities from the Regional Center of Orange County. Please contact Ginny Hayward for more information - hayward@thebarclay.org.
