  • Development Assistnt

    Irvine Barclay Theatre is seeking a part-time team member to support the Director of Development (DD) and Development Associate in reaching annual fundraising goals.

    Responsibilities
    • Assist with patron and donor relations activities
    • Assist with gift entry and acknowledgment process
    • Work with team to create appeals, surveys, and collateral materials
    • Assist with social media promotions
    • Assist with special event planning, execution, and evaluation
    • Preferably will include acting as host/hostess for the Gold Bar – the theatre’s private VIP lounge – before shows, at intermission and for special receptions

    Qualifications
    • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and editing skills
    • Warm, engaging, outgoing, upbeat personality
    • Adaptable, flexible, responsible, self-starter
    • Strong time management, project management, and organizational skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), database software (data entry, queries), email, social media and web research
    • Proficiency in InDesign or Photoshop very helpful
    • Familiarity with email marketing, survey, and design programs like MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, Canva, etc.
    • Familiarity with and interest in the arts and the local Orange County philanthropic and business community helpful

  • Under general supervision of the Irvine Barclay Theatre Production Manager, the Audio Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of professional technicians in providing stage and backstage technical support (especially in theatrical stage audio and design) for professional guest artist performances and amateur licensee events occurring at Irvine Barclay Theatre and is responsible for the proper installation, maintenance, inventory and safe operation of all theatrical audio system equipment.

  • The part-time Concessionaire/Bartender is responsible for completing duties during the assigned concessions shift, serving food and drink products to patrons, maintaining the concessions area, and handling money. The employee is directly responsible to the assigned Concessionaire/Bartender Shift Lead, and is under the administrative supervision of the Patron Services Manager.

  • Under general supervision of the Irvine Barclay Theatre Production Manager, the Lighting Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of professional technicians in providing stage and backstage technical support (especially in theatrical stage lighting and design) for professional guest artist performances and amateur licensee events occurring at Irvine Barclay Theatre and is responsible for the proper installation, maintenance, inventory and safe operation of all theatrical lighting system equipment.
